DETAILS about the worship schedule

The school-year schedule usually begins on the Sunday after the start of classes at the public schools and ends on the Sunday after classes end in May. Throughout the year, the 7:45 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite I is celebrated as the earliest Sunday morning service during the school year. There is no music at this early service. At the 9:00 a.m., Holy Eucharist Rite II is celebrated. This is a service oriented to the families with young children with music chosen accordingly and with special emphasis on communicating with children through the homily and activities during the service. Sunday Christian Education follows at 9:50 a.m. for both adults and children. A time of fellowship and snacks is offered at 10:40 in the Parish Hall. The 11:00 a.m. Sunday service is Holy Eucharist Rite II with organ and choir except during the season of Lent, when Holy Eucharist Rite I is celebrated. The 5:30 p.m. service is geared to students attending the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), although people of all ages are invited. Holy Eucharist Rite II is celebrated, and the music is accompanied primarily by guitarists. The liturgy is followed by a dinner for the college students at 6:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., the Holy Eucharist Rite II is celebrated in Spanish, and followed by fellowship time in the Parish Hall.

Nursery Care is available for children ages 6 weeks to the third birthday on Sunday mornings. Nursery Care begins 15 minutes prior to the start of the 9:00 a.m. service and continues through the 11:00 a.m. service. Children ages 3-5 many attend the Joytime Class during the 11:00 a.m. service and join their parents during the passing of the Peace. Nursery Care during the 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday's nursery service is limited to children ages 6 weeks through five years of age, at which time they can join an EYC class.

The Summer Schedule usually begins in the middle of May and continues until the start of the school year. Nursery care is provided for children ages 6 weeks through the third birthday at the latter service only. There are no Sunday Christian Education classes during the Summer Schedule.
Each Tuesday morning during Lent, Holy Eucharist I is celebrated at 7:15 a.m. followed by breakfast in the Parish Hall. The parish schedules other weekday services on major Holy Days such as Christmas Eve and Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil.
