Episcopal Youth Community (EYC)

The St. Peter's Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) is one of the parish's most vibrant ministries.  Children and Youth add a wonderful dynamic to the life of God's Church, both by contributing to and benefiting from the larger parish community.  Weekly meetings, prayer breakfasts, Sunday acolytes for worship and Christian Formation classes, fellowship/mission trips, and outreach projects provide our young with an opportunity to have an awesome time, as well as grow as human beings and members of the Church.Weekly events include Wednesday night EYC activites at 5:30 followed by dinner, Tuesday morning Prayer Breakfasts at 7:00, weekly "Serious Minutes" discussion group (Wednesdays after dinner @ 7:07), and Sunday 9:50 Christian Formation classes.

For more information about ministries for children and youth at St. Peter's, feel free to contact Youth Minister, Wil Oakes via e-mail or 615.944.4844.

See the attached file for our EYC calendar for the Spring 2008 semester, including events at St. Peter's and around the state (Diocese of Mississippi).  [To download the calendar to your own computer, right-click and save.]
